Informed sources at Cairo Airport said that the airport lounges will receive, within 24 hours, international flights operated by Arab Egyptian international companies, in addition to Egyptian private companies.
Cairo International Airport authorities take all precautions to counter the coronavirus outbreak per the instructions of the World Health Organization and the Ministry of Health to ensure the safety of travelers and expatriates.
The precautionary measures aim to reduce congestion, especially in front of counters, windows of passports, and the first-inspection places for passengers and elevators.
It is obligatory to commit to social distancing and wear face masks inside the travel halls; also, passengers and flight crews are subject to medical examination by an Egyptian medical team, as part of the state's plan to combat the spread of the coronavirus.
