Italians are back in Marsa Matrouh, with the first Italian travel agents arriving there kicking off the summer season. They were keen to head straight to Cairo to visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC), where they toured the Main Hall, the Egyptian Textile Hall and the Mummies Hall. The Royal Mummies were transferred to NMEC from The Egyptian Museum in Cairo in The Pharaohs’ Golden Parade in April, 2021.
