The artist, Ashraf Reda, said that a state of joy and happiness spread at the Heliopolis metro station on the third line, due to the artistic activities organized by the “Arak” Foundation for Arts and Culture, in cooperation with the Metro Management and Operation Company RATP, under the supervision of the National Authority for Tunnels, headed by “Dr. Essam Wali.” Chairman of the authority with the aim of spreading art, public participation, and raising the level of public taste.
Ashraf Reda explained, on his official page on the social networking site "Facebook", that the "People from Heliopolis" event is the first event, with the participation of 10 plastic artists and the "Fine Arts" youth, and the supervision of the artist, "Murad Darwish", who drew more than 100 sketches and live portraits. For the metro audience, an exhibition will be organized out.
Reda indicated that the Heliopolis Trilogy was the parallel event, in which 3 artists created and painted 3 large murals to beautify the station. The artists are “Sameh Ismail” Islamic arts and Arabic calligraphy, “Alaa Awad” from ancient Egyptian art, and “Mina Milad” from Coptic art .
