Director of San Francisco Museums on a private visit to the artist Farouk Hosni at his museum

Yesterday, Saturday evening, Thomas Campbell, Executive Director of the San Francisco Museums of Fine Arts, and a high-level delegation accompanying him, consisting of 25 personalities from the United States of America, visited artist Farouk Hosni at his museum in Zamalek.

The atmosphere of the visit took place in an artistic and cultural framework, and the audience attracted talk about Hosni’s artwork and the arts in general and Egyptian art in particular, as well as learning about the activities of the Farouk Hosni Foundation for Culture and Arts and its support for talented youth, and accompanied them Hosni on an inspection tour to see what his museum contains of Important art holdings for him and other top Egyptian and international artists.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Mostafa El-Feki, director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, writer Mohamed Salmawy, artist Nazly Madkour, media figure Jasmine Taha Zaki, Dr. Alia Abdel Hadi, Ms. Dalia Mostafa, head of the Central Administration of Arts Centers, artist Ihab El-Labban, director of the Arts Complex, and Mrs. Nahda El-Khoury, director of Zamalek Art Hall.

At the end of the meeting, the Executive Director of the San Francisco Museums of Art and the attendees praised the warm reception and their great happiness for the visit of the artist Farouk Hosni and his museum, provided that this meeting is a gesture of cooperation in the future.

Hosni also expressed, on his personal page on social media, his pleasure to visit Campbell and the Board of Directors of the San Francisco Museums of Fine Arts, and to praise and admire his museum and its holdings.
