Today's activities... Ibero-American Cities Exhibition in Alexandria

Today, Tuesday, October 19, 2021, a number of cultural and artistic events will be held in a number of creative bodies and centers, including:

The activities of the fourth edition of the “Golden Talents” competition for people of determination, organized by the Cultural Development Fund Sector in cooperation with the Al-Balad Al-Youm Association, will be concluded at six in the evening, under the patronage and in the presence of Dr. Enas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture.

The Syndicate of Fine Artists celebrates the Prophet’s birthday through several activities, including plastic art exhibitions, films about the Prophet’s migration, religious chanting concerts, and beginning with the exhibition organized by the Syndicate under the auspices of Dr. Toubroqi, which will be hosted by the circular hall of the Egyptian Opera House at seven o'clock in the evening.

Diwan Library in Heliopolis will host a signing and discussion ceremony for the book "Margins in Cities, Travel and Departure" by Emirati writer Aisha Sultan, and discussed by the novelist and critic Lana Abdel Rahman, at exactly seven o'clock in the evening.

The embassies of Latin America, Spain and Portugal will open a photo exhibition entitled “Ibero-America Cities” at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina at 5:30 pm. The embassies of Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Spain, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Dominican Republic and Uruguay, in the exhibition with three photographs of three cities and landscapes from each country. The exhibition will continue at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina until the twenty-second of October.

The European Cinema Club, which is held by the Cinema Culture Palace, affiliated with the General Authority for Cultural Palaces, will screen the movie Mar adentro, at 7 pm, followed by a lecture by Nashwa Nabil.
