The Ismailia International Film Festival for Documentary and Short Films concludes today at the Tolip Hotel overlooking Lake Timsah in the Suez Canal, which is organized by the National Film Center headed by Mohamed El-Basousy during the period from 16 to 21 June and is headed by film critic Essam Zakaria.
The Embassy of India Maulana Azad Cultural Center will organize a special event on the twenty-first of this month, on the occasion of the seventh International Day of Yoga.
The Egyptian Opera House, headed by Dr. Magdy Saber, celebrates the World Music Day, through a program that includes various artistic colors on its theaters in Cairo and Alexandria, approved by the Minister of Culture, Dr. Enas Abdel-Dayem, with a concert by the Baghdadi Big Band team led by the maestro and trumpet player Dr. Magdy Baghdadi on the fountain stage, and a concert The Modern Theatrical Dance Troupe at El Gomhouria Theatre, and a concert by the Cairo Opera Troupe at Sayed Darwish Theater in Alexandria.
Today, Monday, the Olive Workshop will discuss the novel “The Rose of the Rimula” by Ihab Fawzy, published by Al-Wahaibi Publishing House. The work will be discussed by the novelist Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Taha, the critic Dr. Fatima Al-Saidi, and the writer Osama Rayan, and the symposium will be moderated by the writer and novelist Amani Al-Sharqawi.
