After the June 30 revolution, the state, in all its sectors, carried out development and restoration operations in all government facilities, including cultural facilities and buildings. Among these projects, the establishment of the cultural center in the city of Kafr El-Sheikh, and the development of the Rihani Culture Palace.
The palace is located in Cairo Governorate, the project was started as of 15/4/2013, the project was completed on 2/2/2016, the cost of the project amounted to 1.4 million pounds.
The area of the palace is 380 m2, consisting of a two-story villa with halls - libraries - in addition to a theater and a cinema hall.
The palace offers various cultural programs (theatrical performances - literature clubs - artistic performances - artistic and craft workshops - book fairs - cultural weeks - research seminars - training courses).
As for the establishment of the cultural center in the city of Kafr El-Sheikh, the center is located in the Kafr El-Sheikh governorate, the project was started on 7/7/2009, the project was completed on 9/25/2016, the cost amounted to 32.5 million pounds.
The center has an area of 6950 square meters and consists of 6 floors that includes a library, an information technology club, a women's club, a plastic arts hall. The palace offers various cultural programs represented in (theatrical performances - literature clubs - artistic performances - art and craft workshops - book fairs - cultural convoys - Cultural weeks - research seminars - training courses).
