After the June 30 revolution, the state, in all its sectors, carried out development and restoration operations in all government facilities, including cultural facilities and buildings. Among these projects are the Qanater Culture Palace and the Esna Culture Palace.
The theater is located in Qalyubia Governorate, and the project was started as of 3/5/2009, the project was completed on 7/13/2015, the cost amounted to 50.9 million pounds.
The site area is 4000 square meters and it consists of three floors, the first is a theater hall for artistic performances, the second contains libraries and halls, and the third has a restroom.
The palace offers various cultural programs represented in (theatrical performances, cinema club performances, literature clubs, art shows, arts and crafts workshops, book fairs, cultural caravans, cultural weeks, research seminars, training courses), the executing company: Al-Enjaz Contracting Company.
As for the Esna Culture Palace, the palace is located in Luxor Governorate, the project was started on 1/6/2013, the project was completed on 10/11/2015, the cost amounted to 3.3 million pounds.
The site area is 1600 m2, and the building consists of two floors, the first floor contains a large theater, and the second floor contains a children's library - a fine arts hall - a public library - an information technology hall - a seminar hall.
The palace offers different cultural programs (theatrical performances, cinema club shows, literature clubs, art shows, art and craft workshops, book fairs, cultural convoys, cultural weeks, research seminars, training courses).
