Egypt's Minister of Culture follows up the implementation of the confrontation theater program and the touring program

The artist, Dr. Enas Abdel-Dayem, Minister of Culture, was briefed on the show program of the confrontation and wandering theater implemented by the artistic house of the theater headed by the artist Ismail Mukhtar, and reviewed the plan to be implemented during the coming period.

From February to May 2021, the project presented performances in 14 governorates: “Beheira, Gharbia, Port Said, Ismailia, Qena, Sohag, Assiut, Minya, Luxor, Marsa Matrouh, Beni Suef, the Red Sea, Kafr El Sheikh, and Fayoum.” 8 Theatrical performances produced by 7 teams at the Technical House of the Theater in 130 nights, a performance by 200 artists, hosted by 80 villages, and two of them were children's performances.

The confrontation and wandering theater project is targeting during the coming period to present its shows in the governorates of Beni Suef, Ras Gharib in the Red Sea, Halayeb and Shalateen.

It is worth noting that the shows of confrontation and wandering theater are implemented in cooperation with the ministries of youth and sports, social solidarity, transport and communications, the interior, defense, and local development, in addition to the General Authority for Cultural Palaces and a number of civil society institutions and includes the shows of the optimist produced by the National Theater troupe, the poor family of Produced by the Comedy Theater Troupe, Wlad El Balad - A Happy Journey produced by the Modern Theater Company, Recycle produced by the El Taleh Theater Company, Jannah Hana produced by the Tomorrow Theater Company, Misr Station produced by the Cairo Puppet Theater Company, and Al-Aragouz Tales produced by the National Theater Company for Children.
