Restorers have also installed pillars in the weak places for each mummy, and they will be transported on equipped cars, and throughout the course of the procession the path will be decorated with propaganda pictures of the procession.
The event is unique, and the world awaits the transfer of 22 royal mummies, and the event begins with the mummies emerging at night from the main door of the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir, then they will be carried on carts designed in the Pharaonic style and above boxes to keep mummies, and will stand next to the cars and in front of the procession individuals wearing Pharaonic costumes, and individuals on horses.
The motorcade cars move one after the other from the gate of the museum in a circular motion to exit from the main door of the external museum to go to Tahrir Square and revolve around the obelisk, after which the Tahrir Square and the obelisk and the buildings around it are illuminated, then the procession proceeds along the Nile, to be received by artillery with 21 rounds in the air.
For your information, the color of the paints and destinations of the buildings located on the procession road has been standardized until reaching the National Museum, as Ain Al Sira Lake has been developed into a tourist attraction, and mummies will be displayed inside the designated hall called the Mummies Hall of the Museum of Civilization.
