The Arab Atelier for Culture and Arts "Zi" announced, on Tuesday, its first activities for the year 2021, and it will receive important exhibitions by three plastic artists.
Hisham Kandil, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Atelier Al Arab for Culture and Arts, said that the "Z" Gallery will witness the opening of three personal exhibitions on Saturday, January 2, 2021 by three plastic artists, under the title "Three in Mirrors of Color"
Kandil explained that the first exhibition of artist Asma Magdy, who is one of the most prominent young plastic artists who emerged in the last stage, and possesses a high technical ability, especially in portraiture, is rarely found now in young female artists, and her exhibition comes under the title "The First", and includes 50 paintings representing the last production For the artist, who previously held four personal exhibitions.
Qandil pointed out that the second exhibition of the artist Maha Abdel Karim is entitled "State of Dialogue", and represents her latest production in the art of glass for which she is famous. She is the sister of the great artist Aida Abdel Karim and the student of the late great artist Zakaria Al-Khanani, a pioneer of glass art. A glass artwork.
And the artist Maha Abdel Karim has previously participated in many group exhibitions, the most important of which are the art exhibition - Long Live Egypt - at the Gezira Arts Center 2014 and the exhibition - "A New Generation" - 2018 at the Zakaria Al-Khanani Museum and his Aida Abdel Karim, and she held a unique exhibition "My Glass Garden" in the garden of the Khonani Museum and Aida Abd Al-Karim was inaugurated by the head of the plastic arts sector in March 2015.
As for the third exhibition, it is by the artist Raafat Ahmed, who is an important artist and the owner of an authentic experience despite the fact that his name is not very common in the Egyptian plastic movement due to his long stay in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which he was constantly participating in its exhibitions, especially in the Jeddah Atelier for Fine Arts and the Saudi Center for Fine Arts, as well as He participated in the Saudi Colorful Art Competition and won one of its prizes.
Artist Raafat Ahmed recently participated in the "Beyond Coronavirus" festival organized by Dha Gallery, and also participated in the "Dialogues of Faces and Places" workshop that was held between Egyptian and Saudi artists at Dy Gallery during 2019.
Hisham Qandil pointed out that the three exhibitions represent a wonderful start to the activity of "Zay" for the year 2021, and will be followed by an important group of other exhibitions, personal and group.
It is noteworthy that the exhibition of plastic works for the participants in the "Beyond the Corna" festival competition, which was inaugurated at the "Dhay" Gallery on the 28th of last November, ends next Monday.
