The Cultural Development Fund sector participates in the activities of the fifty-first session of the Cairo International Book Fair, which takes place from January 22 to February 4, in the new exhibition grounds of the Fifth Assembly, which is organized by the "Egyptian General Book Authority" through the main exhibition booth at Hall 3, and Booth selling the Fund's publications and the Supreme Council of Culture's publications, Hall 1, booth B3.
The publications on the sale and display wings reached 1100 titles, from the publications of the "National Project for Translation" and "Publishing Project" at the Supreme Council of Culture with a 30% discount, in addition to the publications of the Fund Sector.
It is worth noting that the sales pavilion includes a number of important new titles this year, including: “The Role of the Persian Proverbs in the Prosperity of Islamic Civilization”, “The Development of Language”, “Poetry and Poets Issues”, “Mukhtar Artist of the 1919 Revolution”, “Written with Rose Water”, Popular cultures in Africa, as well as best-selling releases in recent years.
It is noteworthy that the logo of the Cairo International Book Fair, titled "Egypt Africa, the Culture of Diversity", Senegal comes as a guest country of honor for the exhibition, and the writer Jamal Hamdan will replace the public figure of the exhibition.
It is worth noting that the Egyptian General Book Authority organizes more than 900 activities and events during the exhibition days, ranging from cultural and intellectual seminars, signing parties, children's activities, theater shows and movies, in addition to hosting a large number of stars of art and culture.
