CAIRO – 15 September 2025: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met with Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, on Monday, following his arrival in Doha to participate in the extraordinary Arab-Islamic Summit.
The Official Spokesperson for the Presidency stated that during the meeting, President Sisi expressed his sincere condolences to the Qatari Emir and the Qatari people for the victims of the brutal Israeli aggression against Qatar.
He reiterated Egypt's condemnation and denunciation of the blatant violation of Qatari sovereignty, and affirmed Egypt's full solidarity with Qatar and its full readiness to provide all forms of support and assistance to safeguard its sovereignty and preserve its territorial integrity.
For his part, Emir Tamim bin Hamad praised President Sisi participation in the summit, expressing his great appreciation for Egypt's firm and unwavering position rejecting the brutal Israeli aggression.
Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, the Official Spokesperson, added that the meeting also addressed developments in the region and ways to restore regional stability.
The two leaders stressed the importance of formulating a shared vision for collective Arab action and forming a unified front to protect Arab national security.
They also emphasized the need to continue efforts to achieve an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, ensure unhindered access for humanitarian aid, and categorically reject any attempts to displace Palestinians from their land.
