CAIRO - 18 August 2020: Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El Sisi is keen on making "Made in Egypt" slogan, which labels Egyptian products, an international one, said Minister of Trade and Industry Neveen Gamea on Monday.
In statements to MENA on the sidelines of parliament's industrial committee meeting on the strategy of vehicles scrapping, Gamea said President Sisi's directives aim to upgrade the Egyptian industry and boost exports under the slogan "Made in Egypt".
The Industry Ministry is working in full-swing to put into effect the president's directives, renovate the industrial sector and offer enhanced services for investors and business owners.
As for establishing medium and small-scales industrial complexes nationwide, the minister said President Sisi attaches significant importance to the constant follow-up of this file through ministerial meetings.
She added that the state's current strategy prioritizes expanding the establishment of industrial complexes across the country.
