The Ministry of Culture participates in the Corsica Festival of Mediterranean Music

Minister of Culture affirmed that the participation of Egypt as the guest of honor of the Corsica Festival reflects its position with its soft power and cultural and historical weight in the framework of the celebrations of Egypt-France 2019 and coinciding with the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the opening of the Suez Canal.

The Minister of Culture and Ambassador Ihab Badawi, Egypt's Ambassador in Paris and its Permanent Representative to UNESCO and Dr. Neven Khaled, Egyptian Cultural Counselor in France, witnessed the opening ceremony of the 21st session of the Corsica International Festival of Mediterranean Music in France For the festival.

The youth of Brass Band team shone through music diversity and the combination of international and Egyptian rhythmic compositions.

The Minister of Culture affirmed that the reciprocal activities during the year Egypt and France play an important role in demonstrating the ability of soft powers to support and consolidate relations between peoples as an effective tool for communication, pointing out that Egypt's invitation to participate as a guest of honor in the festival reflects Egypt's position with its soft power and its cultural and historical weight as well as appreciation.
