About 4,000 tourists of different nationalities are expected to attend the Opera Aida show at the Temple of Hatshepsut in Luxor on October 26 and 28, Mohamed Osman, a member of the tourism promotion committee in Luxor, said on Tuesday.

In a statements, Osman noted that the tickets ran out and all seats have been booked, a matter which he said proves the strong desire of tourists to attend such international shows in Egypt.

Opera Aida is not only a unique art show, but it also gives a big push to the Egyptian economy and tourism, Osman stated, adding that the show is a great opportunity to attract art tourism during the winter season.

The historical show used to attract the attention of several Egyptian and global stars, he added, thanking the show's staff for choosing Luxor to host the show.

The show will be attended by a galaxy of well-known opera singers, like Belgian Mickael Spadaccini, Korean Sae-Kyung Rim, Czech Eliska Weissova and Greek Aris Argiris.

Also, nearly 80 musicians from Lviv National Philharmonic Orchestra of Ukraine will play during the show, in addition to 70 others from the National Choir of Ukraine "DUMKA".
