As part of the inspection tour, the head of the authority inspected the hotel building attached to the palace and directed to prepare a special regulation for its operation. He also inspected the libraries to find out what was in them of the authority’s latest publications and other publications, as well as the Information Technology Club.
It is noteworthy that the implementation of the first phase began in 1990 at a total cost of 3 million pounds and was inaugurated in 1994 in the presence of Farouk Hosni, Minister of Culture and Governor of the Red Sea at that time, and since that date the palace has provided its services to the people of the governorate.
The statement confirmed that the summer theater has been modified within the palace’s plan to a winter theater adapted to the city's tourism value and hot atmosphere, and to provide it with all safety means to fight fires, as automatic alarm, automatic extinguishing, fire curtain and water tanks have been added to preserve lives and the safety of the pioneers and workers of the palace, in addition to the renewal The entire first phase of the 15th anniversary of its inauguration.
