The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities announced the discovery of a deep well through the excavations of the Egyptian archaeological mission operating in the Saqqara Antiquities Zone, inside which are more than 13 human coffins closed for more than 2,500 years, and they are closed colored wooden coffins stacked on top of each other, so in the next lines we review the history of the region.

Saqqara Cemetery is one of the most important archaeological sites in Egypt. There are tombs whose walls are covered with inscriptions of great beauty and splendor. There are also pyramids, temples and tombs of the Serapeum, and its name is derived from the god of cemetery "Sukkar".

Saqqara Cemetery is also the only cemetery in Egypt that includes tombs from the beginning of Egyptian history until its end. It also includes many monuments from the Greek and Roman eras, and Saqqara was classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1979.

The most important effects of Saqqara can be referred to according to the website of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, by dividing the area into sectors, namely:

- The northern sector: it includes a group of cemeteries, the most important of which is the cemetery of “Kaabar” (Sheikh Al-Balad) and the cemetery of “Hosi Ra”, the basements excavated in the ground that were designated for burying the ibis after embalming it, and also terraces after the kings of the first and second dynasties.

- The central sector: It is the most important sector in the cemetery, where there is the funerary group of King "Zoser" which is located inside the great wall with a step pyramid in the middle and it is the first pyramid constructed of stone built by the architect "Imhotep" as well as the pyramid of King "Userkaf" the first kings of the navel Fifth.

- Haram Tati sector: The pyramid includes the first kings of the Sixth Dynasty and the pyramid of his two wives, and a group of state cemeteries such as the cemetery of "Mer Roca".

- The western sector: it includes the serbium, which is intended for the burial of the sacred calf during the era of the Twenty-Sixth Dynasty, and it continued to be used until the Ptolemaic era.

- The Haram Wanis sector: It includes the "Wanis" pyramid and its hierarchical group. Its importance is due to the presence of hieroglyphic writings on its walls that include religious spells for the deceased, known as "the pyramids."



- The southern sector: it includes the pyramids of the kings of the fifth and sixth dynasties, and the pyramids of some queens, in addition to the "Shepskaf" tomb, known as the Mastaba of Pharaoh.

As for the price of entry tickets to Saqqara, the price of the ticket for the Egyptian is 20 pounds, the Egyptian student is 5 pounds, and for the foreigner, the price of his ticket is 180 pounds, and the foreign student is 90 pounds, and a comprehensive ticket has been introduced to Saqqara: the Saqqara antiquities area - Imhotep Museum - the tombs of the nobles - the cemetery of the modern state - Maho Cemetery - Marroka Cemetery - Serapeum, its ticket for the foreign visitor is 440 pounds, and the foreign student is 220 pounds.
