Egypt’s Ministry of Culture has provided many cultural services that anyone can attain from home in an effort to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.

Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem has launched the “Stay At Home. Culture Is Between your Hands” e-initiative in March 2020, providing distinguished content on the ministry's official social media platforms and YouTube channel.

Among the content provided by the Ministry of Culture is a visit to the first Cairo International Biennale for Children’s Art which was held in May 2019.

Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem said that arts is a tool for dialogue that transcends the borders of languages; it seeks to create awareness and instill noble values in the human conscience, especially in young people who represent the pillar of any society.

Abdel Dayem emphasized that the Cairo International Biennale for Children’s Art came to light as one of the fruition of the cooperation between the official institutions of the state and the civil society to achieve sustainable development.
