 Ragheb Ayad was born on March 10, 1892, joined the School of Fine Arts in 1908, worked as a teacher of art education after graduation, was sent on a mission to Italy in 1925, became Secretary of the Coptic Museum in 1942, then director of the Museum of Modern Art in 1950, honored and awarded by the Egyptian state Her honorary award in the arts in 1965, and he also received a medal from the Italian government.

Ragheb Ayad is considered the most daring and liberating artistic pioneer artist, as he chose a form of expressionism sometimes approaching the caricature and motivated by the desire to achieve originality. Sufism is found in the Church of Al-Furir College in Al-Dhahir, the Coptic Cathedral in Sohag, the Coptic Catholic Churches in Girga, Minya and Samalout, the Church of the Virgin in Zamalek, and the Patriarchate of Alexandria in Alexandria. He passed away on December 16, 1982.
